A commercial mini bus driver, David Udoh, recently walked in on his 10-year-old son raping an 8-year-old girl right on his own bed in Idewu Street, at the Ajegunle area of Lagos State.
It was gathered that the two minors were playing hide and seek game on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 when the boy identified as Emmanuel (pseudonym) ran inside their apartment and was followed suit by his play mate Anna (pseudonym).
Reports by Leadership said that Emmanuel allegedly asked Anna to remove her clothes and underwear before they climbed into his father’s bed and engaged in sex acts.
Midway into the escapade, Udoh opened the door and nearly collapsed at the shock of the sight.
He pulled the duo outside and when Anna’s mother identified as Sarah, learnt of the incident, she blamed Emmanuel.
Rather than reprimand the erring children, both Parents simply resorted to lashing each other before some neighbours arrived and calmed the situation.
Speaking on what went on between herself and Emmanuel, Anna said, “It was Emmanuel that told me to remove my clothes, including undies so that we could do it. I told him no and he pushed me to the bed and I pulled my clothes. He removed my pant.”
One of their co-tenants, John Ukaegbu appealed to the two families not to quarrel over the incident since both kids are minors.
Ukaegbu advised: “Probably you parents did not allow your children to sleep before performing the adult show.
“Children of nowadays are very wise. Allow them to sleep first if not, you are the people teaching them immorality. Sex should be a hidden thing.”
Consequently, the two children were given six strokes of cane as punishment and they both promised that such would never repeat itself again.
