Gov. Jibirilla Nominates Atiku’s Daughter, 21 Others As Commissioners

Governor Bindow Jibirilla of Adamawa State on Thursday,  August 6, 2015 nominated Fatima, a daughter of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar  as a commissioner the state.

According to Premium Times, two other associate of Atiku’s  associate Ibrahim Mijinyawa, a former gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Umar Daware were also nominated, an indicator of the improved relationship between the governor and Atiku, who had previously belonged to different political camps in the past.

Also nominated was a former Director of Press and Public Affairs to embattled former Governor Murtala Nyako, Sajoh.In total, 22 people were nominated, including 4 women.

The female nominees were former commissioner Lilian Nabe Kayode, Shanti Victoria Shashi, Kaletapwa Farauta and Fatima Atiku Abubakar.
