A 50-year-old woman has allegedly stabbed her 61-year-old boyfriend on the groin with a pen because he finished the whole food in the house.
The woman from Akron in Ohio identified as Jefferson,committed the offence on Sunday, March 29, 2015.
The victim, Ronnie D. Buckner, said the incident occurred while they were both eating chips and salsa before an argument ensued on who ate a larger portion of the meal.
Buckner was watching the TV while Phyllis Jefferson who was obviously irked grabbed the device and threatened to smash it.
He eventually saved the television and continued watching while his girlfriend subsequently rushed into the kitchen and grabbed a knife with which she stabbed her boyfriend on the stomach.
The victim called 911 but Jefferson already fled before the responding officers arrived the scene and saw Buckner on the floor with his stomach on his hands and blood all over.
He was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for injuries that were believed to be non-life threatening.
The officers apprehended Jefferson on the highway and she admitted to stabbing her boyfriend with claims that she did it “because she wanted to leave.”
Jefferson was later charged with felonious assault and criminal damaging and booked into the Summit County Jail.
Buckner was a rushed to a local medical facility. His injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, according to reports.
