Femi Adesina, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday subjected the office of his principal, Muhammadu Buhari to public ridicule and widespread condemnation after a tweet targeted at the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Adesina in his tweet described the PDP as “Wailing Wailers” over the party’s criticism of the appointment of Amina Bala Zakari as the new Acting Chairman of Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
If PDP has begun to cry wolf where there was none on INEC chairman, then they should be set for louder lamentations. The wailing wailers.

Nigerians across party divides immediately descended on Adesina chiding him for his immaturity and the public ridicule he was attracting to the office of the President as his official spokesman. Others poked fun at the Presidential Spokesman for what they described as childish, immature an unbecoming of such a sensitive office.
This is what you get when you appoint an editor of a badly edited tabloid as your spokesperson. #WailingWailers pic.twitter.com/m3FGmWErnh

Buhari's PR started as an "epic story" with shades of "Camelot" & Obama 2008
But ground to a shuddering halt with @GarShehu & @FemAdesina.

It's obvious the guys that worked in the APC social media control room have gone back to America. They forgot to train some people…

A Presidential Spokesman should never tweet like Kayode Ogundamisi or his younger brother JJ.

Somebody need to remind @FemAdesina that he's no longer the Editor of SUN but the spokesman to the President of a Nation.
