Actress Terri J. Vaughn has some exciting news to share with friends and family! The 44 year old Steve Harvey Show actress is expecting her third child. She broke the news the other day on a web series from Cocoa Fab which is called “Organized Home”.
This episode of the web series “Organized Home” was focused on a party that Vaughn was planning to throw for her friends. It was a spring garden theme. She had a small tea party where she redid her backyard for a chic party scene. She cooked a nice meal for all of her girlfriends who attended the party and then told them the wonderful news.
During the segment she told Cocoa Fab that she was very excited to bring another family member into the world and that she felt ready. She feels that she is physically, mentally, and spiritually ready and in tune to having another child. Vaughn is currently married to 35 year old actor and former arena football player Karon Riley. They had a son together in 2008 named Kal’El. Vaughn also has a 12 year old son named Daylen from her previous marriage to Derrick Carolina.
Vaughn is best known for her role as Lovita, the feisty school secretary, on The Steve Harvey Show. She won the NAACP Image Award for Best Supporting Actress for this role in 2001, 2002, and 2003. She has also been in All of Us and Meet the Browns. In her spare time she created an organization that is called the “Take Wings Foundation”. This foundation offers scholarships, job training, and mentoring for women that live in public housing and may not be able to afford the education and training that they need.
